Exclamation What Model is it?

I'm hoping someone will use this topic as a sticky for those of us who need to identify a cart\car by it's picture alone.

Could someone please tell me which model this is, and what it's worth? This is a make or break within the next 24 hours I'd like to make a deal on this cart, but I won't do it blind for what they're asking.

Thank you.

Default Re: What Model is it?

Hey duckey , looks like a G9 to me.
In my experience(limited)if the steering column is black and looks like it came that way and the other owner didnt paint it that way and the metal pillars that hold the seat back up are black then almost positive its a G9. if it has white/ivory pillars (metal Part) and a white/ivory steering column then it would be a G2. Find the ID plate could be on floor board near seat hinge when seat is lifted or could be on frame below rear bumper. I think there is a stickey on ID number in relation to year and model inthe beginning of yamaha section . As for the value G2/G9 carts are great carts and parts are still available.I bought a G2 in real bad shape for $300 running but then I also paid $1800 for a G2 with a back seat in cherry condition so there is a wide spectrum in personal value. How does it run , the cond of the tires etc on a plus note it does have a top, in my neck of the woods that is desirable and adds to the value. Sorry for the long chat. Hopes this helps Good luck and Happy forth of July ... Tom

2 ways that i know the diff between a G2 and G9 are the steering wheel and column being black and the rubber trim over the nose and down the front. The G2 has a white steering cloumn and wheel and aluminum w/ a black stripe on the nose trim. Deff id spot would be under the front seat on a G9. As far as value I bought 2 for $600 used 1 for parts and sold the other for $1500. They are great carts. I love my G2.

Thumbs up Re: What Model is it?

What I know is that it needs a throttle cable, tires, and if it's the same one I called about last week it needs brake work. The owner is asking $500.00. It is supposed to run well. I've heard that before, and he had someone that was supposed to look at it last week that obviously didn't buy it for whatever reason.

It's about an hour and 30 minutes away from my location so 3 hour round trip. A nice trip if that's not all we are after however with a new baby it could be pretty loud. Luckily it's a holiday weekend and they shouldn't be working on the road between here an there this weekend.

And thank you so much for the long and short answers. The more I know the better.
