Default Power Drive 2 Model 22110

I have a Lester Power Drive 2 Model 22110 charger that does not work. I have isolated the problem to the charger and not the cart by using a neighbors charger that works. I have power to charger but nothing to the cart. Does anyone know any tips on jumping around various parts of the charger to isolate the problem?

you can start by testing the circuit breaker the relay and the diodes.......all the testing procedures are in the service manual or might even be posted here somewhere..........................

Attached is a PD charger manual that might help you. Also I'm attaching a picture of how to by=pass the charger to see if it will charge your cart. This is only a temp test, not a permanent fix since it won't shut off the charger... not a pretty sight if you know what I mean...

I hope this helps

So if I understand this correctly I am bypassing/ jumping the small board by connecting the two black leads together? And if I want to test for a bad circuit breaker I can use a 15amp DC inline fuse in place of the circuit breaker? Correct?

The two black leads in the charger will bypass the OBC in your cart. The 15 amp fuse will test for a bad breaker in your charger.

Thanks again. I am fairly certain that the OBC is good as when it is connected to another 22110 charger everything is good. What I am trying to do is to isolate the bad parts in the charger.

More than likely it is a bad rectifier/diode. The charger manual easily shows you you how to test it with a multimeter. If that is it it's a $12 part.

Here is a picture of the other side of the charger... look to the left with the 4 wires attached.

Thanks. Will check each of the above out when I get home this afternoon. The charger does nothing (does not hum or even click to recognize the cart) when pluged in to the cart and then into the wall receptacle.
