Default EzGo Steering Stabilizer ?

Looking to add a steering stabilizer to a 97 ezgo txt.

Thre are two part numbers I run across at numerous websites (#28424, and #29490). Both look identical and have identical descriptions (Steering stabilizer kit. For E-Z-GO 1994 1/2-01 Medalist, TXT), yet the #28424 is much cheaper.

Does anyone know what the difference is?

THanks in advance,

squirrel49

Hi squirrel49, wanted to know if you ever installed the steering stabilizer?

Thanks!

No I haven't.

I have a Jakes Spindle lift kit which does not have the bracket the original spindle had which the stabilizer would go on.

I just put mine on with the drop axle installed. I just used two self tapping screws to secure the bracket to the bottom of the axle. Worked great. I just used the regular stabilizer kit.

This is the response I got when I emailed the question:

"28424 is just a bracket, and 29490 is the complete Steering stabilizer kit"

I bought this one. It came with the shock, bracket, and bolts, and was only$33.
