98 TXt charger red wire with F&R switch

In the process of changing out to a F&R switch and have everything figured out except:

1. Can I still integrate the "charger attached" interlock when changing out to a dash switch and solenoids?
2. Since I am now using solenoids which only energize when pressing the pedal, can the reverse alarm be activated whenever the switch is in reverse?

Right now the alarm only works once you hit the go pedal.

Had I known where that alarm was 3 years ago I would have added an on off switch
