Volt edge batteries
Does anyone use or can tell me if Volt Edge batteries are any good. The salesman is telling me they are made by Trojan, not sure if I believe him on that one. The are 205 amp hour batteries and I can get them for $79.99.
I am running a 97 txt series 36 volt with a plum quick purple motor set up for torque and a 500 amp controller (thanks to scoyttyb). I have 2g cables on it also. |

Re: Volt edge batteries
A quick google search didn't show anything about Trojan making these batteries.

Re: Volt edge batteries

Re: Volt edge batteries
Afetr some phone calls and investigating these bateries are manufactured by FVP not Trojan(came directly from FVP themselves)

Are they any good? Anybody ever purchased them? I may have to be a guinea pig on these.

Re: Volt edge batteries
I've never even heard of Volt Edge batteries, but most of all, I wonder if putting 205AH batteries in a cart set up for torque is a wise move.
The 500A controller, 2Ga wire and a torque motor will probably suck them dry quickly. And heavily drained batteries don't score high on actuary tables. Just my $0.02. |
