1983 Ezgo charger
I have a 1983 ezgo charger 36v/25a sn 10348 that was working fine and then blew the fuses (2 # fnm 40 fusetron dual element). I replaced the fuses after looking all over the inside and didn't see any loose wires or metal touching anything it shouldn't. It blew again as soon as I plugged it in. Does any have a suggestion or a diagram of a charger that old? Is there a safe way to wire around the fuses?
Thanks for any advice you can share. |

Re: 1983 Ezgo charger
A blown fuse means you are pulling more amps than it was rated for. Usually a shorted wire. Look downstream of the fuse for wires that may have worn their insulation due to rubbing/vibration.

Re: 1983 Ezgo charger
Thanks, I haven' taken the plug apart to see is something is touching inside. I just need to do a little more checking.
