Default Transporting my RXV

Hello All;

New to the cart world. (2008 RXV)

Just a quick question to you all.... Would you remove your roof to transport in the back of a P/U truck?

I did yesterday when I bought it, but I was just wondering if you all did. I know it can't hurt, but that roof does take up space.

Regards,

HJ

I leave the roof on, just fold the windshield down if you have one and be aware of your overall height.

Our neighbor transported a TXT with the roof on and it in fact blew off. I normally do not remove them but I also do not go as fast as I normally would either. I have no idea how fast they were going when it went for its solo flight.

Just keep it reasonable speed and you should be ok, but better safe than sorry.

If you're really worried, or can't keep your speed down, lash the roof down to provide additional support. A couple ropes cross-tied and attached to the truck bed should give peace of mind.
