Default Charger ???

Going to be replacing the batteries in my 04 TXT. I currently have a Club Car charger that has a ezgo cord and charging plug on it. It has been working fine fully charging batteries to 38.2 volts (reading taken 12 hours after charger shuts off) My question is, should I continue to use this charger on new batteries or replace it with a powerwise charger. I dont want to mess up new batteries.

I have been told you can't use a club car charger on an ezgo because the club car charger doesn't have a brain it is on the cart itself.

36 v cc charger you can use on any 36v cart, no OBC on 36v cc,--- a 48v cc has the OBC, and you need to change things to make it work on an ezgo OR

I'm not sure I saw in another thread someone makes an aftermarket board that will make the club car charger work with exhort. Maybe you have that?

I would say if it worked fine on your previous batteries, it will work fine on your new ones. The voltages will be the same, so you should be good to go!
Check out " scottyb's " site and read about batteries. He has a wealth of info there!
