Default EZGO Powerwise Charger

I have 2 chargers and i tested the diodes, fuse, the charger board, and capacitor. i also checked continuity with charger end and wires running into the charger. i found yesterday the magnet in the end of the cable was not in the correct spot so i got that fixed. when i plugged the cable into the cart it wouldnt kick on but when i unplugged it the charger would click. after reinserting the charger into the cart a couple more times it kicked on and was up to 16 or so amps and steadily dropped to 12 or 10 and then went straight off. the batteries are fully charged as its not my cart. lol i acquired another charger just like the one i had and swapped the club car end with the ezgo end. also the 50 amp fuse was blown so i replaced it. i plugged it up and the charger made a weird buzzing noise as it started to smoke. lol so not good i snatched it out of the cart real quick. but it burned the radsock sp? so those 2 need replacing i know and also blew the fuse. my question is why would the charger burn the radsock when plugging the end into the cart and everything was hooked up right ? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Question Re: EZGO Powerwise Charger

Take it and see if the color's match up on the cart. Black to Black and white to red. if they do then check the charger end for them being crossed up. Didn't u say u swaped the cord out.
