Default O'reilly's belt vs EZ-GO OEM belt

I am about to do the short belt mod on my '02 TXT, and I noticed my stater/generator belt was pretty worn. I went down to O'reilly's and bought a Gates A33 belt (1/2" x 35") and put it on.

It has been working great and was only $5, but here is my question:

Once I do my short belt mod, it will be very difficult to change the starter/generator belt. Is there any reason I should be concerned about the Gates A33 vs the EZ-GO OEM belt? Or am I good to go?

Thanks!

Louis

I have run both parts store belts and OEM belts. they seem to last about the same time. I think I was getting my store brand belts at carquest. I only used them when I was out of stk on the OEM belts. The OEM belts cost me less than store brand belts.
