Ezgo resistor cart no forward

Hi all,

I have an old three wheel EZGO resistor cart. I have reverse and that works great. When I put it in forward it does not go.

What I can tell you.

When in reverse I hear the solenoid click and measure ~36 volts on both sides of the solenoid, cart moves in reverse, I have the rear wheels of the ground. When the manual switch is in forward position I do not hear the click when I press the gas. If I jumper the input and output of the solenoid it goes forward.

I did notice that in reverse I am getting ~36 volts on one side of the smaller poles on the solenoid and ~.7 on the other. When it is in forward I have ~36V on both.

Any ideas or what I can test? I have another solenoid but I am not sure that is the problem.
