Ordered some parts, Need Help
1993 EZGO PC4XI, sim. to a Marathon
Good Morning I ordered some parts from East Coast Carts and need a little help from the experts. 1. The diode - See pic., it has a silver bar on one side, which side goes to hot?. 2. The microswitches - See pic., the ones on the cart have two terminals these have three, will they still work and if so which two terminals do I use?. 3. The solenoid - See pic., the solenoid shown on the notebook paper is the one they sent me the other one is like the one on the cart, both are 36v. what may be the difference?. The one they sent does not even match the picture shown for the part number on the website, the picture matches the one on my cart. The reason I'm asking all the questions is it takes a week or so to get parts, I'm trying not to screw something up. Thanks Crittr |

Re: Ordered some parts, Need Help
We send parts in 2-3 days anywhere in the USA. Here is the instruction sheet for the solenoid install which gives the info you are asking for

Quote:
2. The terminals should be labeled C (Common), NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed). You want to use the C and NC terminals. 3. It should work. Wire it as shown on the diagram Scotty provided. |

I can attest to the fast shipping form Scotty's. I ordered a Digital battery meter from him. I received it here in Michigan two days later.
