Default 2001 Ez Go Remodel

I bought the golf cart last Friday and on Monday I started the tear down. Here's some of the progress from Monday night and Tuesday night. I'm not a fan of the dark green so I'm trying to decide what color to go with. I ordered some goodies yesterday. 6" jakes lift and wheels and tires.

I do have a question. Should I go ahead and replace the shocks why I have easy access to them? They look original.

The shocks don't have much affect on the ride of the cart. Unless you're planning on removing some or all the leaf springs, the shocks should be ok. The leaf springs are the main concern, they carry the load of the cart and do the shock absorbing...if that's what you want to call it.

Thanks Pitbull for the info.

Is there anything that I should replace why I have it tore apart that could save me some trouble down the road?

I would replace the tie rod ends and bushings front and rear. I am having to do that now after having mine tore down a year ago and not doing it then.

I agree with LBZ. I'd go ahead and change the fuel lines, check electrical wires etc.

Is there 4 or 6 bushings in the rear?
