I am trying to replace the timing belt on my 99 TXT. Do i have to remove the drive clutch? If so, can someone tell me how to remove it?

Re: 99 TXT Drive Clutch Removal
Yes you need to remove it. You need a clutch puller and impact wrench. Lube the puller threads well with motor oil.

This guy uses a special tool to do it, but it might give you an idea on how to do it. If you have some basic fab skills, you could probably make one these tools

Re: 99 TXT Drive Clutch Removal
He is pulling the drive clutch, not the driven clutch. That type of tool won't work and can damage the drive clutch.
