Default 80's Marathon Driven Clutch Helix Thread Direction?

I need to get my clutch apart to clean the shaft up, but I assume by the way it looks it is original and has never been apart (good bit of rust) so I'm a bit afraid to go retard strength on it until I am sure what direction the threads on the helix run. Once you pop the little cover/washer thing out of the helix there is a set screw that threads half into the shaft and half into the helix, it is right hand thread.(Unfortunately I forgot to snap a pic of this when I had it out last, hope this is descriptive enough)

Here is a picture of the one I have, I'm 99% sure it's the stock clutch for the 1980 EZGO Marathon. Thanks Guys!!!

I had to straighten mine and couldn't figure out how to get it apart either. I did the best I could and it shined itself up after running a while. I did not figure out if it was pressed together or screwed. Seems the set screws indicated a pressed fit (for alignment).

It is pressed on! Got the helix off no problem with a 3 jaw puller, but then I completely screwed the sheeves and the aluminum parts that they rivet to when I was trying to press them apart...now I need a new clutch

Sorry to hear you ruined it. I wonder if you could post a picture of the pieces to show how it comes apart.
