Default Chain drive gas conversion reverse questions

Okay so I picked up an 08 for a steal the PO did a gas conversion on it and didn't bother figuring out reverse and I would love to have it.
I have done as much research as I could before posting.
What is the cheapest and most efficient way to get reverse back?
It's just a chain driven Briggs motor with a centrifugal clutch.

Any and all advice, links, parts, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You will need a differential with reverse in it.
This is one of a dozen a year that we see cobbled together
and done on the cheap.
Sorry if this seems tough but we tell them the need but
they build them with left over parts and end up with a half usable cart.

The chain goes from the motor to what? If it goes to where the pulley was on the 08 rearend,
it should have forward/reverse shift on the front of the rearend.

Yes it's an electric that got converted to gas.
It's not completely done that's why I got it for pretty cheap.
I assume the guy just got bored with it before finishing or just decided he didn't need reverse. Regardless, the oem are belt driven from what I can tell, right?
Would finding a gas rear end with reverse and putting the sprocket on that rear work? Do they make kits that are more or less bolt on with reverse?
I anticipate spending at least 100 dollars if not more, I just kind of wanted to see what the damage will be before I start tearing stuff apart.

Yes, there is a sprocket that will fit on the splines of the two speed transaxle rear ends. Start hunting now for the rear end, to buy one new they are about $2,000...you will definitely be spending more than 100$ unless you get SUUUPER lucky. I would do a search and see if there are any golf cart junkyards or people who repair golf carts in your area, they usually have a stockpile of junked carts spread throughout their properties... You may be able to sweet talk one out of them for a decent price.

Heres a picture of what you are looking for

You will need a drive clutch as well to use the driven shown above, more than a hundred all together.
