Default Looking for some info

Bought this cart a couple months ago and have a few questions
1. How do u tell if it has a lift kit on it it has 22/11/8 tires on it but they r rubbing on the steering arms on the front and the rub on the back rear of the back fenders on the rear
2. It's a 98 gas txt was wondering what motor is in it so I can by filters and a plugs
3. Can u paint this thing without tearing it completely down
Thanks in advance

Welcome!!It will either have blocks between the front-axle and springs,or a dropped-axle.The stock axle is straight. The rear-axle will be under the springs.Stock, the springs are under the axle. You need wheel-spacers or offset wheels with 22" tires or they rub.Hope this helps.

You will be a lot happier if you tear it down to paint..

this is an example of lifted with the springs above the axle

There are so many helpful member here so do not hesitate to ask if things get tough!!

Yes, changing the springs in the clutches will make a noticeable difference, when I went from 21" tires to 24" tires it killed all power I had but I changed the springs and my power is back.

Don't forget to add some flex additive to the paint to keep it from cracking.

Looks like you have a drop axle in the front (my stock axle goes straight across, and yours curves down at the ends), and I think (not sure) I see some small blocks in the rear...

Seems to be lifted to me, but I could be wrong...
