Broken POS timing advance key was the problem! > where is this and how did you fix it, my 96 has the exact same problem, And im new to the cart world.

My 93 DS still has original rubber strap that holds mine in place. If yours is missing you could use a rubber bungee to replace it.

Are u talking about the strap over the battery? Is there one on the air box too?

Mine has a separate one holding the air box also. Next time I go to golf course I will take a pic.

I drove out to the golf course on the ice and took a pic of my strap that is on my air intake box so you can see how mine looks. Again this is a 1993 DS but I would think would be the same as yours.

Thanks. I appreciate. Mine is the same but the strap doesn't seem to hold it very tight. I may rig it to tighten it up.
