compression, wiper piston rings
I got new ring set from EZGO.
Both the compression and wiper rings are the same size and shape. The EZGO manual shows the shape of them to be different with a "N" to indicate which side up. These have a dot mark to show what side is up. One has a little more silver in it, and one appears to be a softer material. It's only a guess that the silver might be the compression and the grayer one the wiper ring, but I'd rather know, not guess. Any one know for sure? |

The last set I got had the "n" on them but I still studied the diagram in the engine service guide very carefully and used a magnifying glass to be sure they faced right.
