1984 ezgo secondary clutch question.
So I bought this cart already tore apart with a locked up engine. Did a complete rebuild and she started right up. Cart is running great and I managed to figure out everything except one piece. At the secondary clutch there is a flat bar with a cable running up to the front of the engine bay. What/how does this hook to and what is its purpose? I would have done a search but I have no idea what to search for.

Re: 1984 ezgo secondary clutch question.
It was for the governor system. The cable hooks to the carburetor.
It's only purpose was to make sure that you had the obligatory extra parts when you were done rebuilding it. Don't bother hooking it up. |

Ok thank you for making me not sound crazy. That's what I was thinking it was for but the design kind of baffled me
