You would have to figure out how to switch between the OBC though, because the DPI doesn't utilize it...

Jake, there's a DPI 17V if you don't have an OBC and a 15V if you do.

Here's a link to the one I got: https://www.golfcartking.com/Product...8v-CC3PinRound

I think (hope) I got the right one since my cart does have an OBC, and after talking with them, but thank you for bringing that up!

Yep looks like you got the right one. Didn't know there were two, thanks for sharing!

Although I did buy a new one I decided to tear the old one apart. What'd I have to lose?

It ain't purty, but here's a little before and after:

I haven't tested it yet (and will have to research that) but it doesn't appear anything inside was damaged

The "after" picture looks great. How did you straighten the face and cover?

Is it unplugged and reading 9 amps in the picture?

I gutted it so I just had the shell to straighten. It's fairly pliable so it just took a little patience (as well as a series of tools and a rubber mallet).

And yes, it's unplugged and reading 9 amps .

One of the two posts (ceramic) on the back of the meter got bent pretty good. I think just the "hand" is bent so I'll work on that a little

If everything inside looks good, I'd probably just get a new meter for it (TahoeDawgZ71/Revolution Golf Cars FTW!) since all the charge for the cart passes through that thing. It's not just a gauge that does nothing but give the rate of charge like most think, it's a part of the main current path.

The straightening came out great!!!
