Re: Stretch my cart
Ironmonky,
I have the carb figured out and ordered. The springs should mount on the ,90 the same as on yours I think, gonna check that out and if that's a go, I'll proceed with that. One more question would be the shocks you mounted. They look good too, are they generic ones or ezgo part numbers? Regards, E.Z. |

Re: Stretch my cart
I just noticed that they are only covers over the shocks, what would the part numbers be for the shocks, I never took mine off yet and they are toast, along with the rear ones.
May as well do them too while I'm at it. Cheers, E.Z. |

Re: Stretch my cart
I didn't need to replace my shocks, I just extended the mounts, there is also another 2 inch extension on top of the shocks, after I replaced the springs I needed to add another 2 inches. if you plan on buying new shocks maybe you can pick up a longer pair instead of adding 5" or 6" of extension, I'm sure someone might know a little about going that route..

I will find shocks that will fit the lift, my buggy was mortally wounded before I actually ended up with it so now that I have it I have been replacing parts and got it running, but it needs a bit of tinkering to get it back to normal and that's why the shocks are busted. I needed to see visually what the shocks look like i.E. side bolt mount or straight shaft. Mine I believe has the eyelet on top and the straight threaded shaft on the bottom, but the rubber spacers, cups and stuff are missing so matching was a pain. I,m getting there though, The buggy comes home from my buddys shop tomorrow and then I can have a better look at what they look like. The cart had a bent axle and busted springs and more but it is not a total loss. I'm trying to upload pics but my computer is sick so bear with me. Regards, E.Z. |

Re: Stretch my cart
My front ones are straight shafts and the rear are through bolts.

Thanks for the heads up on the sticky section. Still slugging it out with the puter to fix problems, but I'll get there. Regards E.Z. |
