Default Battery charge indicators

Looking to put a indicator on a 48v. Cart.
What would be recommended a needle type or a digital gauge?
I kind of like the needle type gauge.

The most useful and recommended will be a digital voltage gauge across your pack as they become a gas gauge and trouble shooting tool all in one. There is a small chart you can download, print and attach to your cart that tells state of charge in % according to voltage. You can read voltage sag while running. You can read voltage weather charging, or charged etc....

I replaced a needle gage in less than a year with a digital one. Agree with teecro 100%.
