Default Solar panel

Hi everybody, i have a 2006 club car and what im looking for is a solor panel to run my power drive 2 battery charger. Has anyone used one before or have any info on it. I use my cart for work and it sits outside for 9 hours without being on a charger. Any suggestions?

Won't happen! You can get a solar panel that will trickle charge your pack but there is no solar panel that would fit on your cart that would run your charger!!!

So in "charger" terms - the first example implies that it produces about 2 amps of charge current, and the second approx 1 amp at 48v.

A roof sized solar panel can generate around 200 to 250 W of power at best. That should be more like 4 amps at 48V.

Those vendor ads say 105 watts and 45 watts as their "peak sun" performace. That's why I thought 2 & 1 amps accordingly.

Here's one way of doing it. Put the solar panels on top of your garage/workshop/studio.

PS The only thing solar panels mounted on a golf cart are good for is "Show and Tell" day at the Country Club.
