No power on gas club car
I've replaced everything. New battery. New starter generator. New solenoid. New voltage regulator. New micro switches. The engine will not turn over. I press the gas peddle and nothing. I jump the solenoid and the engine turns over. All the wiring looks to be secure with nothing loose. Any ideas what I'm missing here?!?

Re: No power on gas club car
It sounds like it could be a possible microswitch failure on the GCOR
The GCOR is a variable potentiometer with a kill circuit microswitich. It's located at the throttle linkage, To access it, you'll need to pull back the floor mat, remove the pedal group access panel, and it should be on the right at the base of the Go pedal. Here's a link about it... click>>> http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...-question.html I suggest replacing the complete GCOR, and not repairing it, but you can do what you want to do! |

Test it with an ohm meter first!

Re: No power on gas club car
Its rare the GCOR goes bad. Have you checked to see if you have power going to the solenoid? Even if it doesn't click, it could be bad. Not sure why you changed everything without checking anything out first.
