Also SKY you might check Northern Tool & Equipment Supply for SenDec Hour Meter with Tac. Model #806-100-1032 @ $44.99. This model can even be preset to flash alert for elapsed hours maintenance due. I run with hour meter only as have kept my 2014 TXT with 401cc Kawasaki stock RPMS (That's what old age does to you)

Definitely do that - the Kawi engines have no rev limiter, so You're very likely flirting with Valve Float at those speeds. Also, I would def kick the governor back to where it at least engages at top speed, those transaxles have plastic Governor Gears and have been known to grenade and lock up the rear ends if allowed to spin unchecked for any length of time (VERY expensive repair unless You're familiar with disassembling rear ends and have the correct tools) ...
