Default 1988 ezgo 2pg oil tank and pre-mix

where would the oil tank be on a 1988 ezgo?
either it didn't have one or the previous owner removed it.
someone said the oil tank and pump was optional?
anyway i'll be pre-mixing, 128-1 is what I have read.
thanks

Bolted to the top of the engine bay, under seat on driver side....I think. Oil pump is on the outside of flywheel side cover. Oil line connects to top of intake, between carb and motor. If there isn't an oil line, make sure the hole, where it connected to intake, is plugged

I pulled the oil system and premix. 1oz oil per gallon of gas 128:1

128:1 seems like a pretty lean mix ration. I hope that you are using a top quality synthetic 2 stroke oil if you are mixing that lean. Is the 128:1 mix ratio recommended in your operating manual?

1:28 / 1 oz is correct or 1 oz per gallon.

The 128:1 is the correct ratio for after break in (40:1 during break in). Most of those old 2 stroke carts have had the oil tank removed and run gas/oil premixed. They're all getting old now and sometimes the first indication of the oil pump failing was when the engine seized up. Better to premix and be sure it's getting the oil it needs.
