I heard you can buy flex pipe to put on the tail pipe of a 07 ds 290 gas engine and run it out the back to quiet it down. Does anyone know the size of the pipe and if it actually does quiet it down any ? Thanks.

will post pics of my set up tonight,
my muffler just flat rusted out, and the cops were getting on to me about jetting up and down the streets a 2 am......... my bad,,,,lol so i took a kabota tractor muffler, and rigged to my 290, works well, it is actually quieter than all my friends gas carts.....sorry for my neighbors cause my 400 watt kenwood does not have muffler o wait......i think it does have a volume buuton.... |

Here's what I used( not in the cart yet, just bench tested ) it's a muffler from a 30hp Kohler I had laying around. Sounded real good in the garage. We'll see next week when I get it in the cart and on the road. I will post a video.
