I was going to add 2" wheel spacers to help out with that.

Track width doesn't matter. The carts are too light in the front at speed.

My cart came with a 6” jakes lift and yes it was unstable. To help with that I installed HD springs in the rear, spacers on the front springs , a clays basket in front and I varied the toe on the front end till I got it the best it could be. I also fabricated a steering shock for the front end.

Adding a suspension lift to any vehicle will cause a higher center of gravity and potential handling issues. Golf carts are unique because they are narrow, tall, and have a short wheelbase. They don't tolerate these kinds of suspension changes very well.

With that said, tons of us have done it safely and correctly. Just expecting to bolt on a lift kit and tires and expect it to be without it's challenges would be foolish. Just make sure you have an open mind, do your homework, and be prepared to learn. Don't just take anyones word.

As far as which lift is the best? I have used the Jakes LT kits several times and was pleased. They are, however, not easy to get right now. Rhox LT kit is out there, I've heard good things, but have never used one. I am not a fan of any single a arm lift kit as they are not designed for good handling and can make a cart very unsafe at higher speeds than 15 mph.
