Default 2007 gas wont start

Bought a 2007 gas Yamaha. Had a bad clutch. replaced the clutch, changed oil, new sparkplug, turns over great but wont crank. Pulled the plug and has no fire. any help will be appreciated.

Please keep in mind this is an enthusiast forum, so we mostly just check in whenever have a little spare time to kill. There is a switch at the base of the gas pedal with 4 wires. 2 provide power to engage the solenoid when you press the pedal, which appears to be happening. The other 2 ground out spark from the coil when you let off the pedal. Check in the sticky section for your wiring diagram. The switch could be bad. Wiring to & from the switch could be bad. Ignition coil itself could be bad. It's a magneto type coil, so if it's working it should generate it's own power to create spark unless that gets shorted to ground.
