Default Need a little help please

I have never worked on a gas Yamaha before, my mom, who is 81,has a 2002 model g-22,going over there on the holidays to work on it. When she presses the pedal nothing happens, so I am taking tools to go fix it.What are the most common things that can go wrong with this? I have an electric ez-go which is all I have ever dealt with. I suppose starting off make sure we have fire from pedal to solenoid (if it has one) and then to starter. I am mechanically inclined so I think I can figure this out hopefully but any help would be appreciated ,thank ya too much

Here's your wiring diagram. Yes check your fuse (should be standard ATC10), but make sure where you have power & where you don't.

If it really is "nothing", no buzz, no click, no whir - could be battery, connections, fuse, ignition switch, pedal switch, solenoid or any of the wiring between all that. Get a volt meter and see where you lose power.
