How to decode Yamaha drive and drive2 serial numbers
I bought a Yamaha golf cart at an estate auction and they said it is a 2016 which would make it a G29. I think it's actually a 2017 or newer because the rear body is separated into 3 different components. There are two seams where the rear body comes together. One on the left and one on the right under the seat behind the drive and passenger legs. It also has rear independent suspension. All the websites I've come across to decode serials numbers only go up to 2015. I'd appreciate it if someone knows how to decode drive2 serial numbers.
