G8 Yamaha charging problems

Hey guys, I'm having a charging issue with my G8, starter generator is new, new regulator, new solenoid.
I finally found on this site a wiring diagram that seems to be right.
The original I had found on another site was not right, it was missing the Energizer wire to the solenoid.
I'm having an issue with the brown wire that hooks to F2. If it is hooked up it will blow a fuse as soon as you touch the pedal. If I energize the pedal and then hook it up it doesn't charge but will run without blowing fuse. It also continues to run when you let off of the pedal with the wire still hooked up. Is there by chance a diode that is supposed to be in the wiring? Is it possible someone has changed wiring in the plug to the regulator?
I do not have the wiring schematic for the regulator pins.
If this brown wire isn't hooked up, it seems to run fine but doesn't change.
Haven't had this cart long and it came with these problems.
