Exclamation Need a crank for a Yamaha G1

Hey all,

I’m looking for a diamond in the rough here. Probably have a better chance of finding a needle in a haystack but I’m looking for a crank for a Yamaha G1 golf cart. Obviously I’m looking for one that is in new, like new, or very good used condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Mike

Call Don plowman at plowmans carts. I know he does (or used to) rebuild them if you have one. If you don’t have one, he may have a couple there too. Never know until you call

Thanks! That’s the kind of info I needed! I’ll give him a call in the morning. I have one but I suspect it’s bad as I can’t get the timing right no matter what I try. It has to be a sloppy wrist pin or connecting rod where it mounts to the crank as they’re one piece. Thanks again!

Turns out the guy at the shop was full of it and it’s fine. There were 2 wires that were reversed. Switched them back, runs perfect… anyway. I still want a performance kit from Don. I’ll give him a call! Thanks all!
