Question Yamaha G2 serial number... Missing...

Searched at back bumper and near the air box under the seat with no luck... Would there be a number on the engine block?

This cart is rusted a bit and bunch of paint layers. Wondering if it's is under the paint or was it on a rivited plate or something...

Reason for this is to get it covered for insurance purposes.

Thanks!

Here is a shot of the area I thought it would be.

Should be right at about that area where the rivet is below the shifter, on a plate stamped with the serial number. I see the rivet but not the tag, it may be gone forever. That’s the only place that would have the serial number that I’m aware of

Sounds right to me. Maybe I will have to figure one out.

Try cleaning off the red paint. That's where it would be stamped.
