Default Disabled the governer on my G2 now it cuts out at 20 mph

I disabled the governer on my yamaha G2 and now when I get it up to 20 mph it cuts out. I don't know if its a rev limiter or the clutchs or whats happenin.
I just figured out that I posted this in the wrong category and don't know how to delete it

G2 has a limiter in the ignitor, G9 does not. There is a thread on converting G2 to the G9 ignitor have to change a couple wires iirc. I would not recommend to rev it that hard without a lift or gears anyway. When you get around 30mph there is more load on it and it will not rev much more anyway, unless you go down a hill then you should let off. But with stock tire/gear it can rev higher and you only get 1mph more or something anyway. Better to get a G1 you can't hurt those with rpm. G2/9 can toss a pushrod at some point. If you don't want a lift and want to go faster, I've put gears in and if you do it you will be grins ear to ear no kidding. I ran 28gps in an old CC I put gears in with the old flathead engine hitting its pretty low rev limit, completely stock cart, felt like it was going 40mph man was that funny running it back to back like that it was nearly double the speed.

With 22s my G9 does 28 on dirt and 30gps on pavement, another one with the governor still on it and same tires did 27 which I would estimate was about the same rpm as rev limit would be. Governor was turned all the way in is all. High speed gears should be similar.
