pressurized tank, watched fuel get pushed through the filter. still didnt start.

found out a co-worker had a personal compression tester we didnt know about, tested compression and got 10psi. thought the gauge might be a bit screwy, so we tested on a Yamaha Drive, got ~108psi. re-tested the G series and got 10 again.

anytime bud...sorry the news wasn't better though for ya...If interested in sending motor off for rebuild contact Motors and More out of GA for a good price with your core...or save some money and do it in your spare time...

Just a suggestion here. Before you "write the engine off", I suggest you look into the valve train. With compression that low, the problem could possibly be a stuck valve. - RAY

i've got a small engine dude thats gonna get into it to figure out whats going on. the cart had to be done by thursday (tomorrow) so i went ahead and swapped the body, seat, backseat, top and windshield over to a good running yamaha.

what a fun time.
