If you know a good machinist you could get new rods turned up pretty easy or you could do like some do and cut, sleeve and weld what you have in there with some chromoly to lengthen them.

Just some suggestions.

can you do any adjustment from the inside of the tie rod i haven't taken the dust cover off?

Both ends are adjustable,



From the looks of the first pic, you're not that far off and should be able to adjust it with what you have.

What type of lift do you have? I can see it's not a spindle lift from this picture. Might check for king pin and hub/wheel bearing play.

On rack and pinion cars, loosen the jam nut at the tie rod end/joint and turn the tie rod with a 12 mm wrench to adjust (there is a squared off portion just before the threads start for adjustment). I myself, like 0 toe in for lifted cars, but thats just me. Good luck and let us know what you come up with.

Scott, you need a Jake's spindle lift. I put one on a G22 in the G8 club, starting on about page 445! That car drove and handled great with a 4" lift! And with a Jake's, you won't need those spacers!!
