need help with new F/R SWITCH
I got a new HD switch today... now when I put it in forward the power light is on... soo as I move it to reverse the light goes out and now power... someone said to adjust the contacts.... not sure how to do that

if you look at the base....your new switch has "slotted" holes, which allows you to fine tune its location, where as the stock one has normal holes. what you will need to do is to loosen up the base bolts a tad to allow you to move the entire switch the direction you need it to move so that the contacts make connection. I had to do this very thing when I installed mine.

Make sure you have lots of light in the area and can see the contacts clearly. You want good, solid, square on contact. Each contact pad should mirror the one it is touching.
