Re: New cart speed question
Thats the best a stock rxv can do with stock tires. Per ezgo factory specs. They have unlocked all the speed you can get without changing programming beyond ezgo limits. On models with "curtis controller" there is more left in there. If you want any more speed, getting 10", 12" or 14" rims with bigger street tires, or lifted "big tires" will get some more speed.

Cgtech does Curtis sell a handheld that can be purchased to reprogram and up the speed. Just guessing if they do the handheld is an outrageous price.

Re: New cart speed question
Yep, there expensive, and its not gonna just let you go over 19 mph. There is a setting in there that can go higher, but the motor rpms will be above stock limits (they are already at 6400 rpm @19mph). Also, if it is not setup with "freedom mode"(19mph) you cant enable it with the handheld.

I have a txt pds and been thinking of purchasing a course rxv. I know they will do 25 with gears, stock 16-1 and 2 five 13-1, believe the torque loss would be too much. I am just going to have too find someone that changed gears. It's Florida flat here but still need that initial good get going to cross heavy traveled roads. Thanks.
