Update: Found what was causing my fuel starvation problem on the G16. The pulse pressure was just fine. Basically, the needle valve port was clogged. The needle valve would move, but the port inside the carb, where the fuel fills the bowl, was slightly clogged. I hit it with carb cleaner and compressed air, which did the trick. It has plenty of fuel now and runs SO much better. Hope this information helps anyone who is still having a fuel starvation problem.

so your float wasn't letting the bowl fill up with fuel? is your fuel filter 100% full mine always runs about 30% full? not sure if that is a problem or not. I installed a brand new fuel pump just to eliminate that possibility
