Default what model do i have and how can i test it

hi I got this thing couple years ago and I decide now I like to work on it

came with no wires or batteries but id like to either convert it to Gas and get a transmission to run in reverse

or how can I test each unit to know what is wrong with it

Looks like a marathon. Did you get the year off the data plate under the dash on the passenger side? Should be 1994 or earlier I think.

Im upgrading the exact same setup. Looks like a 90 i believe by the serial number. I have a 92 with all the same controls. But does loom exactly like my 92 marathon

I upgraded wires controller solenoid and f and r switch and went to gauge wires from scottyb. Eventually going to 48v with high speed motor. The stuff i already did helped a lot with torq.
