I bought the highest amp controller i could get. I would get with scottyb and tell him you want to do and he can tell you what you need. We planning on using at beach and around neighborhood. The controlled wires helped speed a little but mostly has more torq.

Get you 3 - 12volt batteries and some battery cables and wire it up and see if it runs, you have to have 3 - 12 volts sitting around, 3 - 12 volts are only for testing

There is wiring diagram in the sticky theards at top of the forum. My cart has 6 6v batteries from what i learned on here the 6v will have more run time than 3 12v. There is also a trouble shooting guide in the stickys as well that has some good info. Go to cartsunlimited.com thats where i got my upgrade.

There is no "KIT" to turn this into gas, If you plan on doing that , you will have to fab everything. Do some reading on this site, lots of info.

You could get a gas cart and switch everything over, but why!

Are you just trying to get this to have a reverse? Electric carts have this.
