Default Re: RXV diagnostic scanner not working

My main suggestion if you keep the HS gears, is set it so it cant exceed 25mph, that will minimize (not eliminate) your troubles. I have never used front brake kit on rxv, so i cant say, but it couldnt hurt. High speed gears can force the controller into thermal cutback (overheating - 85c and above) with just a few 0-max speed-0 runs with heavy braking here in the desert.

Found place to rebuild diagnostic scanner, Flight Systems Industrial Products ...They also remanufacture controllers. 717-254-3747. Have run 1:13 gear for 2 yrs now...no problems with brakes or overcharging batteries with regenerative process. I do not ride brake pedal when stopping, only tap pedal as necessary. My batteries are Trojan...original, came with cart..6 years old and doing remarkably well !!
I have a 94 TXT 48 volt with Altrax controller at present setting runs about same speed. It has Jakes front disc brakes...I am in contact with them now concerning disc for my RXV.
I did what you suggested to post pic of my RXV....it shows up in my profile but does not post.

Have a super day !

Thought I'd add this : My RXV is street legal..tag and titled in Tennessee, they require insurance also. I drive the cart frequently on city streets marked 35mph or less. No issues
