Default Melex 252 specs

I am about to bring home a model 252 on a small trailer, and can't find out how much it weighs, or any other specs, for that matter. Anybody got some data they could share?
thanks,
Jeff

Sweet, thanks. Trailer can handle 1000, so should be good to go. It will barely fit on it, though!
Now, how do you pronounce "Melex"?
Also, is there a site with any other tech data?

A Melex 252 electric is pretty much identical (drive system, wiring, etc body, seats frame etc) to an early EZGO Marathon car. the 252 was my first golf car. The front windshield support and roof are vastly different however. hard finding them. my roof was fiberglass and fell apart and the only way to replace it was to use an enclosure that had those zippered doors and it worked alright.

Has anyone done the conversion to 48V yet and know what needs to be done or which motors/controller to buy?

Hi, I just bought a 252 and the serial number is 180000. Do you know what year it is please? I need to know so I can get a wiring diagram for it.
