"Z" lift
I have a 2015 club car XRT850SE with the "Z" lift. It has aftermarket wheels and tires and for some reason they are starting to rub when turning left. For the first year and a half it would only rub if I hit a pretty good bump while turning. What would cause this to start now? Is there a good aftermarket lift that will work with the z lift that will give me an extra inch or two or is there something I can do to this lift to get a little more lift? Thanks

Re: "Z" lift
Being that the XRT850 is based on a DS platform,
It sounds like your drivers side tire is rubbing on the air box duct in the drivers side wheel well, (ask me how I know that! ) Yes, there are different front block lifts that will help that, but then you have to figure out how to lift the rear! (yours already has extended rear shackles) Then... there's an extension plate the moves your front suspension forward 1" that would also fix it! https://diygolfcart.com/lift-kits/cl...t/club-car-ds/ |
