Sounds like to me you have a bad ground. It has to make a circuit to make it work.Just like light as they wont work without a ground.Hope this helps.

Wow! you spent big bucks already. should have come here for help first. (sorry, could not resist)
You will find people very helpful around here. Just give us enough info and someone will know how to solve your problem.
As for your issue, yes, check your grounds, but, also check and make sure everything went back together the right way. (right connection on right terminal, etc.) You will likely find all the info you will need to fix your problem on this thread. It says it in this thread, but, if you don't know, be aware, that Club Car Kawasaki engines rotated counter clockwise prior to 1996 1/2, after that they rotated clockwise.

It is long, and at first, may not seem to be going in the direction to solve your issue, but, you will find lots of test info as you read and a good understanding of how the starter/generator works.

keep us posted.

Perhaps if you described the exact symptoms your cart is exhibiting we could be of more assistance ? It sounds like a charging issue but nothing in your post points to the root cause. Throwing parts at any vehicle is tantamount to throwing darts at a board in the hope that something will stick.

As far as the generator i had it check and it was bad, same for the battery. So i talked to several people and they said, sound like the voltage regulator. The cart run as long as i charge the battery (runs like a top). I just cleaned all of the grounds and unhook the lights to see if that helps.

umm, sounds like you got bad advise. The likelihood of the battery & the generator & the voltage regulator being bad AND after replacing those items, something else is still bad? about 0. Not likely at all.

This test procedure can all be found in more detail in the link I referenced above. put cart in service mode, check the voltage at the battery before starting, then when running at a 1/2 throttle and then full throttle. What are the voltages? any difference? now do the same but check the voltage at the generator. Now, ground the field wire and check the voltages again. When you ground the field, you should have full charge from the generator, the voltage should start climbing and will go way high, maybe 18 volts. DO NOT LEAVE IT THIS WAY JUST BECAUSE IT IS CHARGING. If you leave it and just run it, you will cook your battery in a matter of hours and mess up other stuff too.

let us know what you find.
