well..my new cart wont start......

just got my hands on the '96 CC Gasser......and it just wont start !!!!! push the pedal down, it has a "click" and the motor spins over, but just wont fire !!!!!

it has set up for over a year now....it dont look like much gas is getting thru the filter so I pulled the hose off the carb and turned it over....some gas comes out, but not much, and I dont know how much to expect.....

tried to pull the plug, but none of my deepwell SAE sockets seem to fit....whats up with that!!!!!

any recommendations on some procedures that I might want to start at????

hey slayer is the drive clutch spinning or is it just the starter that is turning. if it is just the starter then you might have to tighten the tension on the starter belt to get her going.

got it running...but now I am tracking what appears to be multiple issues ....it basically starts, and will move....no "pep" and no power........when adding any extra load to the cart such as a slight aspalt incline, you can just feel the power drop off....can never get to the rev limiter......
