Default G1 2 stroke oil tank

Hi all iam new to the form and the gas golf cart world the question I have is I just bought a G1 golf cart and I would like to eliminate the oil drip tank and mix my gas myself is this possible and if so can somebody maybe give me some advice on how to I know this discussion probably has been discussed before but I can't seem to find it in my searches here I have race two strokes most of my life so I am no stranger to mixing oil and gas however I broke my back a few years ago so now trying to get into golf carts thanks for the help

I'm about to do this also..they say plug off oil inlet an take off oil pump an your good to go...keep looking cause there is a thread somewhere..maybe in 79 G1 build...hope this helps

A lot of people do pre-mix including me. I mix at about 75:1, removed the oil tank and hoses and just plugged the ends.

what brand of oil you use??

I use Husqvarna chain saw oil.

I mix mine 50:1 and feel very safe.

If u want to mix your fuel yourself Go to your local motorcycle shop and get a cup it is call ( ratio right cup ) it is foolproof cant mess it up in my opinion the best way especially if you're new to mixing
