Kf82 flathead!
Debating on tearing out my kf82 341cc flat head motor and selling it. Works good just need more speed and power for what I want. Just on here testing the waters because most people I've talked to don't know how much its worth. One guy on ebay is selling his for 800 plus shipping? Not ready to sell just yet but will be this winter to start a new part of this build. Thanks. Dustin

Re: Kf82 flathead!
The guy is "asking" $800 for it. You'd have to look at completed or sold listings to find out what they sell for.

Re: Kf82 flathead!
I think one sold on here for about $4-500 complete a few weeks back if I recall.
I could be wrong but did you search the selling section? eBay may have a listed price but that's not what it may sell for. |

Re: Kf82 flathead!
Mine is in working condition just want more speed and power. Only things I'm going to keep might be the clutch and starter/generator. Don 't think I need anything else from the motor.

Re: Kf82 flathead!
It would be nice to be able to get that kind of money for an old engine. It would go a long way toward putting in a clone engine.

Re: Kf82 flathead!
I would be interested in your engine, provided we could decide on a fair price. I have a knocker in a cart, have considered just building this one. What sort of compression does your engine have? I wouldnt need the starter/gen or the clutch as I have my own.
Thanks Jason |
